"Have faith in God" (Mark 11:22)

Jesus was talking to His disciple Paul when He said this. He was instructing Paul and even today, in our present time, we must have faith, to not doubt in our hearts, but believe what God says will happen. Faith is powerful, it really can move mountains!

Charles Capps in his little book; "GOD'S CREATIVE POWER" said, "Remember -- when you are sick, call yourself well, for you are calling for what you don't have. If you put this into practice and make it a way of life, then your body will respond to your faith demands that are based upon the authority of God's Holy Word."

Your healing won't take affect just because you say it. However, by you saying it you become involved in it happening! The Lord desires that by our faith in Him we plant His seed for what we need. God's spoken Word is incorruptible seed, and it produces after its kind.

Would you like healing? Set aside time daily to fellowship with your God. Meditate His Word by speaking it to your body. Pray His infallible Word over your body. Declare what you pray to be true until you are fully persuaded. Your body will respond to your voice; how much more will it respond to God's Word when it is spoken in faith.

APPROVED

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). (2 Timothy 2:14-26) instructs those whom He knows are His ; and don’t we aspire to be recognized as such, to be approved by God? He tells us to avoid godless chatter (gossip), because we will become more and more ungodly. God warns that what we say can affect others, even destroying the faith of some. Heaven forbid we should say anything to do such damage!   Approved we flee the evil desires of youth we pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace. We don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments because we know they only produce quarrels. As God’s servants we mustn’t quarrel; instead we must be kind, able to teach, and be not resentful.   Approved we are to gently instruct those who oppose us, hoping God will grant them repentance and lead them to the knowledge of His truth. Over the past few years I have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to write what He has given me; many times I was awakened in the middle of the night to write them down. I hope you will take look at these brief messages which can be found in the "sidebar" of this blog under the heading of "BLOG ARCHIVE." There may be something in these that personally speaks to you. I pray there is. Thanks for reading my blog and may God richly bless you.

Walk Of Faith

I wonder, do you think we miss God’s purpose for our lives because we are waiting to learn more of what God has planned for us? Truth is; God isn’t required to lay it all out for us. All He must do if He has a plan for our lives is to show us how and then enable us to do it. It seems when we don’t know all the particulars, life is too perplexing. We think, “ but I need to know just what God wants me to do.” Abram (later known as Abraham) probably had thoughts just like this. God asked Abram to go somewhere he wasn’t familiar with and he most likely thought of asking God, Lord, must I go somewhere I don’t know, can’t I just stay here in Haran? However, God’s plan for Abram was far greater than anything Abram could ever imagine. Our personal feelings, vision, and human reasoning will always get in the way of our walk of faith . God teaches us to have faith in Him by placing us in positions where our feelings, vision, and common knowledge don’t work for us. Haven’t you ex...
