God is in control of everthing

There is nothing, nothing imagined, or real God does not determine to be or not. Who do we think we are to consider ourselves originators of creation and law? All that is, or was, or will ever be is first considered, and then established by God.

Are we fit and capable of establishing and governing a nation without first seeking the will and power of God? Hardly! Do we think for even a moment that we can decide who will be our (king) without considering God’s chosen? We can, God has allowed us free will, but it is possible we will regret our candidate if we insist on that one who is not God’s choice. History proves this to be true; consider how the Israelites denied God as their true king, preferring Samuel to select another for them. Enter King Saul, and the historical events that destroyed that nation.

What matters is important! Not only is what we do, or do not do important with regards to including God in our plans, our most personal future depends on how we use our free will. To leave God out of our plans is to be excluded from His!

Consider what God said in (Job 38:2-3) “Who is this that darkens My counsel with words without knowledge? Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you will answer Me.” And in (vv4-7) “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell Me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely, you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? And also (vv 16-18) “Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea or walked in the recesses of the deep? Have the gates of death been shown to you? Have you seen the gates of the shadow of death? Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth? Tell Me, if you know this.”

The ways of God are beyond our human comprehension. Our ability to understand the power of His wisdom is certainly limited to our fear of God and to obeying His commands. We can’t know the reasons behind our own suffering, or that of others, and God might never explain Himself to us. All the while, God offers us Himself in a very personal way – we can have His presence, comfort and love.

A very anointed and gifted pastor by the unusual name of: Dr. Shadrach Meshach Locklear popularized this important question in his now famous sermon of 1993; “He is my King! I wonder; do you know Him?” Well, do you?

APPROVED

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). (2 Timothy 2:14-26) instructs those whom He knows are His ; and don’t we aspire to be recognized as such, to be approved by God? He tells us to avoid godless chatter (gossip), because we will become more and more ungodly. God warns that what we say can affect others, even destroying the faith of some. Heaven forbid we should say anything to do such damage!   Approved we flee the evil desires of youth we pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace. We don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments because we know they only produce quarrels. As God’s servants we mustn’t quarrel; instead we must be kind, able to teach, and be not resentful.   Approved we are to gently instruct those who oppose us, hoping God will grant them repentance and lead them to the knowledge of His truth. God never changes who He is

The popular cry of the people here in America today is for “change.” Yet in some parts of the world there are those who use all means, including terrorism to resist it. There are some people who are determined to leave ancient traditions, and often times, corruptible governments just as they are, and have been for hundreds of thousands of years. Many of these nations do not recognize God. God is always the same; today, tomorrow, and forever. He never changes; this knowledge about Him enables us to have total reliability in Him. His character is as follows: God is omnipotent . All power is His, and nothing is beyond His control. He enforces His perfect will. He is unstoppable by any force in heaven or on earth! God is omnipresent. He is everywhere imaginable and unimaginable all at the same time! No person or place is beyond His presence. Space and time are before Him always. He determines everything for all places and all persons. God is omniscient. All that is happening to all ...
