A Promised Land

This is a land (Israel) like no other land, a land and a nation God promised to Abram. In (Genesis 12) God told Abram, son of Terah, to leave his country, his people, and his father’s household and go to the land He would show him.

God said to Abram, “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.

Israel is now imperiled. Her enemies threaten her in ways not seen before. We know Iran repeatedly threatens to “wipe Israel off the map.” The nuclear threat Iran possesses is a very serious concern for Israel, and is for all Christian nations. The United States is a friend to Israel, and our role in her future must remain strong. We must pray for Israel! God warns in the above Scripture; “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse…” Israel is not just another embattled country, it is land chosen by God.

The Middle East could be one of the most peaceful places on earth if peace talks actually brought peace. As long as only one side wants peace though the threat of the destruction of Israel and a second holocaust exists.
I don’t believe God has given up on Israel, and I don’t believe He will allow it to be sliced up and given away to its enemies. But, the Arab world, the European Union, the media establishments and, yes, even our own government tells Israel in order to bring about peace they need to divide Jerusalem, leave Judea and Samaria, give up the Golan Heights and receive an unlimited number of refugees!

“…whoever curses you I will curse” is not a simple threat, God has declared it. I do not believe America will be exempt from what God said if we desert Israel. As He said, “…I will bless those who bless you” should be all we need, as a friend to Israel, to understand our important position in the future of Israel.

God will not back down on His promise to Abram nor to His chosen people. I believe God will heal His covenant land in a way that will be unmistakably by His own method. God's word (never) fails.

God bless Israel, and God bless those who support Your Israel.

Walk Of Faith

I wonder, do you think we miss God’s purpose for our lives because we are waiting to learn more of what God has planned for us? Truth is; God isn’t required to lay it all out for us. All He must do if He has a plan for our lives is to show us how and then enable us to do it. It seems when we don’t know all the particulars, life is too perplexing. We think, “ but I need to know just what God wants me to do.” Abram (later known as Abraham) probably had thoughts just like this. God asked Abram to go somewhere he wasn’t familiar with and he most likely thought of asking God, Lord, must I go somewhere I don’t know, can’t I just stay here in Haran? However, God’s plan for Abram was far greater than anything Abram could ever imagine. Our personal feelings, vision, and human reasoning will always get in the way of our walk of faith . God teaches us to have faith in Him by placing us in positions where our feelings, vision, and common knowledge don’t work for us. Haven’t you ex...
Over the past few years I have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to write what He has given me; many times I was awakened in the middle of the night to write them down. I hope you will take look at these brief messages which can be found in the "sidebar" of this blog under the heading of "BLOG ARCHIVE." There may be something in these that personally speaks to you. I pray there is. Thanks for reading my blog and may God richly bless you.

In Heaven

We will experience a sense of perfect joy There will also be perfect peace and fulfillment because of the divine presence of God. Our worship of the Father will be without distraction. Forever and ever we will concentrate our worship only on Him; our loving, caring God who is, and was, and forever will be our Creator and Sustainer. Never will we experience exhaustion as we serve and interact with Him on a very personal level. “And His servants shall serve Him” (Revelation 22:3). In Revelation it is revealed we will govern with Christ and rule over all that is brought under His dominion. “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall rule forever and ever!” (Revelation 11:15). And it is written; “And they [his servants] shall reign forever and ever” (Revelation 22:5). Ours will be a perfect fellowship like that of the Father and the Son. “That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they may also be ...
