Sanctity Given


A person can’t accomplish sanctification by themselves no matter how much he or she studies the Word or desires this quality. It is not even something God would produce in you as something you would contemplate yourself. Instead it is the Holy Spirit, His Spirit of holiness alone, who can or will communicate His holiness and continue to renew the same in you. By our complete faith we become partakers of His holiness. It is Jesus who sanctifies us for God.  (1 Corinthians 1:30) says, “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God – and righteousness and sanctification and redemption – that, as it is written, 'He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.'”

We seek to surrender ourselves to God by faith, so He may enable us to live life moment by moment. By His Spirit, we are to believe the Lord will, lead us into, and keep us in, this life of holiness and consecration to God’s service. We choose to live in obedience of faith, listening to God’s voice – the guidance of His Holy Spirit. Jesus enables us to be set apart for God.

God attains His purpose from the time His discipline leads the sick on to a life of holiness. He will heal him who asks it in faith. Our natural parents “for a few days chastened us…No chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it” (Hebrews 12:10-11). As the believer receives knowledge of the “peaceable fruit of righteousness” and accepts it, he is then in a condition to be delivered from chastisement.

Since some believers cannot understand that sanctification requires our complete consecration to God, they fail to believe healing comes quickly following the sanctification of those who are sick. Their good health is too often only a matter of personal comfort and enjoyment. God may choose not to minister to this kind of selfishness.

As we come to understand that God requires us to be “sanctified, and meet for the master’s use," we are not surprised to see healing and a renewal of strength for those who have learned to submit their bodies and minds at His disposal. They being sanctified and employed to His service by His Holy Spirit. Simply stated, and worthy of being remembered; the Spirit of healing is the same as the Spirit of sanctification.

God’s Family

He provides resources for the family “For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those whom call upon You” (Psalm 86:5). God’s plan for marriage and the family, in the Bible, is intended to be ideal, full of prosperity for every member. Would you say this describes your family? Maybe, maybe not, however, even if your family has missed His mark His Word deals with life realistically. GLORIOUS!

"Shout with joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of His name; make His praise glorious" (Psalm 66:1,2)! Hallelujah! Praise to our King! See how glorious He is! He is our awesome God! He is our Healer, our Counselor, our Morning Star, our heavenly Father, our Savior and our Redeemer.
