Sanctity Given


A person can’t accomplish sanctification by themselves no matter how much he or she studies the Word or desires this quality. It is not even something God would produce in you as something you would contemplate yourself. Instead it is the Holy Spirit, His Spirit of holiness alone, who can or will communicate His holiness and continue to renew the same in you. By our complete faith we become partakers of His holiness. It is Jesus who sanctifies us for God.  (1 Corinthians 1:30) says, “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God – and righteousness and sanctification and redemption – that, as it is written, 'He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.'”

We seek to surrender ourselves to God by faith, so He may enable us to live life moment by moment. By His Spirit, we are to believe the Lord will, lead us into, and keep us in, this life of holiness and consecration to God’s service. We choose to live in obedience of faith, listening to God’s voice – the guidance of His Holy Spirit. Jesus enables us to be set apart for God.

God attains His purpose from the time His discipline leads the sick on to a life of holiness. He will heal him who asks it in faith. Our natural parents “for a few days chastened us…No chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it” (Hebrews 12:10-11). As the believer receives knowledge of the “peaceable fruit of righteousness” and accepts it, he is then in a condition to be delivered from chastisement.

Since some believers cannot understand that sanctification requires our complete consecration to God, they fail to believe healing comes quickly following the sanctification of those who are sick. Their good health is too often only a matter of personal comfort and enjoyment. God may choose not to minister to this kind of selfishness.

As we come to understand that God requires us to be “sanctified, and meet for the master’s use," we are not surprised to see healing and a renewal of strength for those who have learned to submit their bodies and minds at His disposal. They being sanctified and employed to His service by His Holy Spirit. Simply stated, and worthy of being remembered; the Spirit of healing is the same as the Spirit of sanctification.

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). (2 Timothy 2:14-26) instructs those whom He knows are His ; and don’t we aspire to be recognized as such, to be approved by God? He tells us to avoid godless chatter (gossip), because we will become more and more ungodly. God warns that what we say can affect others, even destroying the faith of some. Heaven forbid we should say anything to do such damage!   Approved we flee the evil desires of youth we pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace. We don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments because we know they only produce quarrels. God never changes who He is

The popular cry of the people here in America today is for “change.” Yet in some parts of the world there are those who use all means, including terrorism to resist it. There are some people who are determined to leave ancient traditions, and often times, corruptible governments just as they are, and have been for hundreds of thousands of years. Many of these nations do not recognize God. God is always the same; today, tomorrow, and forever. He never changes; this knowledge about Him enables us to have total reliability in Him. His character is as follows: God is omnipotent . All power is His, and nothing is beyond His control. He enforces His perfect will. He is unstoppable by any force in heaven or on earth!
