God Is With Us

Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God

God is with us, and is healing us even when we haven’t been diagnosed with any particular disease or we don’t feel ill. Acknowledging this, I believe He is constantly sheltering us from all the harm that could befall us. Likely many of us take Him for granted in this respect without intentionally doing so.

We might consider that our lives seem to be going along without any real problems and maybe we don’t really have anything to complain about. We might even say life is pretty good! Surely, it’s not because we’re just lucky. No, it is our loving God sheltering us under His mighty wings; we are protected!

God is healing us everyday, every minute and we don’t even know He is doing it! Let’s stop and think about this for a moment. There is so much more trouble or tragedy we could be experiencing, but we aren’t! So, let’s say; thanks be to God! He gives His angels charge over us and in their hands He bears us up. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor the arrows that fly by day, nor the pestilence that walks in the darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday(Psalm 91.)

Whatever our situation, or the condition of our health, we are blessed by our Lord. He is our healing strong tower.

Walk Of Faith

I wonder, do you think we miss God’s purpose for our lives because we are waiting to learn more of what God has planned for us? Truth is; God isn’t required to lay it all out for us. All He must do if He has a plan for our lives is to show us how and then enable us to do it. It seems when we don’t know all the particulars, life is too perplexing. We think, “ but I need to know just what God wants me to do.” Abram (later known as Abraham) probably had thoughts just like this. God asked Abram to go somewhere he wasn’t familiar with and he most likely thought of asking God, Lord, must I go somewhere I don’t know, can’t I just stay here in Haran? However, God’s plan for Abram was far greater than anything Abram could ever imagine. Our personal feelings, vision, and human reasoning will always get in the way of our walk of faith . God teaches us to have faith in Him by placing us in positions where our feelings, vision, and common knowledge don’t work for us. Haven’t you ex...
Over the past few years I have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to write what He has given me; many times I was awakened in the middle of the night to write them down. I hope you will take look at these brief messages which can be found in the "sidebar" of this blog under the heading of "BLOG ARCHIVE." There may be something in these that personally speaks to you. I pray there is. Thanks for reading my blog and may God richly bless you.

In Heaven

We will experience a sense of perfect joy There will also be perfect peace and fulfillment because of the divine presence of God. Our worship of the Father will be without distraction. Forever and ever we will concentrate our worship only on Him; our loving, caring God who is, and was, and forever will be our Creator and Sustainer. Never will we experience exhaustion as we serve and interact with Him on a very personal level. “And His servants shall serve Him” (Revelation 22:3). In Revelation it is revealed we will govern with Christ and rule over all that is brought under His dominion. “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall rule forever and ever!” (Revelation 11:15). And it is written; “And they [his servants] shall reign forever and ever” (Revelation 22:5). Ours will be a perfect fellowship like that of the Father and the Son. “That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they may also be ...
