From God with Love

“Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us” (Romans 5:5).

Many of you I do not know. However, through the love of God and His Son Jesus I call you friends. I pray you are blessed this day by Him who loves you as His very own.

In the beginning, we were one with God, then sin tempted us and we succumbed to the lure of the evil one. We became a lost people, doomed. Still God loved us. He wanted us to be one with Him like it was before. He missed us so much and wanted to hold us once again like He use to. But since sin can not exist with God we were doom to our isolation from Him. Then, God, who loves us so much created a plan for our salvation; a way in which we could be forgiven and everything between us and Him would be forgotten. Once again He would be able to hold us, express His deep love for us. We would be His children once again, and He would be our heavenly Father. So, He sent His only beloved Son Jesus! He knew He would have to cause Jesus to be sacrificed for our sins, but it was the only way. He grieved His method, but we are that special to Him! YOU are that special to Him! Even if you were the only one He could have and to hold He would have done it… just for you!

Times when we feel left behind, unloved or neglected we can believe without any doubt we are special! We can believe we are loved beyond all measure because our awesome, God loves us, really loves us! “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all thing? (Romans 8:32). Do you need to be encouraged? Be encouraged! Do you need to feel you are special? You are special! The apostle Paul said in (Romans 8:37-39) “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

You are not alone in your fears my dear friend! You are a beloved child of God. If you have feelings of separation, fear or doubt, come close to your Father now. Pray to Him, tell Him what is bothering you. He is waiting to heal anything that is troubling you.

Peace as always through Christ.

APPROVED

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). (2 Timothy 2:14-26) instructs those whom He knows are His ; and don’t we aspire to be recognized as such, to be approved by God? He tells us to avoid godless chatter (gossip), because we will become more and more ungodly. God warns that what we say can affect others, even destroying the faith of some. Heaven forbid we should say anything to do such damage!   Approved we flee the evil desires of youth we pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace. We don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments because we know they only produce quarrels. As God’s servants we mustn’t quarrel; instead we must be kind, able to teach, and be not resentful.   Approved we are to gently instruct those who oppose us, hoping God will grant them repentance and lead them to the knowledge of His truth. Over the past few years I have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to write what He has given me; many times I was awakened in the middle of the night to write them down. I hope you will take look at these brief messages which can be found in the "sidebar" of this blog under the heading of "BLOG ARCHIVE." There may be something in these that personally speaks to you. I pray there is. Thanks for reading my blog and may God richly bless you.

Walk Of Faith

I wonder, do you think we miss God’s purpose for our lives because we are waiting to learn more of what God has planned for us? Truth is; God isn’t required to lay it all out for us. All He must do if He has a plan for our lives is to show us how and then enable us to do it. It seems when we don’t know all the particulars, life is too perplexing. We think, “ but I need to know just what God wants me to do.” Abram (later known as Abraham) probably had thoughts just like this. God asked Abram to go somewhere he wasn’t familiar with and he most likely thought of asking God, Lord, must I go somewhere I don’t know, can’t I just stay here in Haran? However, God’s plan for Abram was far greater than anything Abram could ever imagine. Our personal feelings, vision, and human reasoning will always get in the way of our walk of faith . God teaches us to have faith in Him by placing us in positions where our feelings, vision, and common knowledge don’t work for us. Haven’t you ex...
