Justice and Faith

“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry” (Habakkuk 2:2).

Even as life seems confusing your faith sustains you. Accept that God is holy and just. His deliverance comes to you now as your patience has pleased Him. Anticipate His blessing soon to come.

In the Book of Habakkuk the prophet Habakkuk asked questions of injustice of God and God answered him. Have you ever asked God; “Why?” Why did this or that have to happen to me? Why did You allow this curse to come upon me? We likely have all asked God why at some point in our lives. I am thankful that God is patient with me! Habakkuk, in his time, appraised the faithfulness of every generation past and future that the perceived conditions of their present is never to be construed as the true and ultimate state of affairs. Habakkuk was told by God His righteous may have to wait but His justice will come. The Scripture at the top of this page (Habakkuk 2:2) declares that; the just live by faith, and so they do!

We must have faith to endure all of our troubles and any injustice that comes our way. God is working a plan. Abraham waited patiently for God (Hebrews 6:13-15), so must we as believers wait. God is going to fulfill His will for your life. “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed faith to faith” (Romans 1:17). Read more of this Scripture in your Bible.

In closing, the dialogue we read in Habakkuk was between God and one of his prophets. It was written for the people of Judah but, I believe serves the people of God today. Have faith in God knowing there is nothing in your life He isn’t already aware of. Pray to Him for any injustice you may feel in your personal life, your family relationships, your job or anywhere else. Trust in His justice for He is about to do a new thing for you.

God will heal your feelings of injustice because your faith declares He will do it!

Walk Of Faith

I wonder, do you think we miss God’s purpose for our lives because we are waiting to learn more of what God has planned for us? Truth is; God isn’t required to lay it all out for us. All He must do if He has a plan for our lives is to show us how and then enable us to do it. It seems when we don’t know all the particulars, life is too perplexing. We think, “ but I need to know just what God wants me to do.” Abram (later known as Abraham) probably had thoughts just like this. God asked Abram to go somewhere he wasn’t familiar with and he most likely thought of asking God, Lord, must I go somewhere I don’t know, can’t I just stay here in Haran? However, God’s plan for Abram was far greater than anything Abram could ever imagine. Our personal feelings, vision, and human reasoning will always get in the way of our walk of faith . God teaches us to have faith in Him by placing us in positions where our feelings, vision, and common knowledge don’t work for us. Haven’t you ex...
Over the past few years I have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to write what He has given me; many times I was awakened in the middle of the night to write them down. I hope you will take look at these brief messages which can be found in the "sidebar" of this blog under the heading of "BLOG ARCHIVE." There may be something in these that personally speaks to you. I pray there is. Thanks for reading my blog and may God richly bless you.

In Heaven

We will experience a sense of perfect joy There will also be perfect peace and fulfillment because of the divine presence of God. Our worship of the Father will be without distraction. Forever and ever we will concentrate our worship only on Him; our loving, caring God who is, and was, and forever will be our Creator and Sustainer. Never will we experience exhaustion as we serve and interact with Him on a very personal level. “And His servants shall serve Him” (Revelation 22:3). In Revelation it is revealed we will govern with Christ and rule over all that is brought under His dominion. “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall rule forever and ever!” (Revelation 11:15). And it is written; “And they [his servants] shall reign forever and ever” (Revelation 22:5). Ours will be a perfect fellowship like that of the Father and the Son. “That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they may also be ...
