“Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105).
Because He is who He says He is, He can do all He says He will do for you!
We unleash God’s power of healing when we speak His Word over our bodies and our miseries. Psalm 107:19, 20 says; “They cried out to the Lord, and He saved them from their distresses. He sent His Word and healed them.” His Word is the most powerful medicine today and is capable of curing all your ills without any side effects. I am not advising against your doctors or any medicines they may prescribe. I am saying don’t leave God out of your healing process. His will for your healing is supreme. Faith in His Word allows you a powerful resource for your healing that still remains a mystery to many.
When we speak God’s Word over our diseases and our distresses we aren’t expressing some form of blind faith. No, we are calling down God’s awesome power of healing to our situations out of His promise to us through the atonement His Son Jesus made for us on the cross. When we confess His Word we are claiming that healing which is already ours even though it may not present a manifestation we may witness at this time.
Proverbs 4:20-22 tells us; “My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.”
When Jesus’ disciples cried out to Him in the middle of the stormy sea they frantically asked Him for help, saying. “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” Jesus arose, rebuked the wind and spoke, “Peace, Be still!” and asked His disciples, “How is it that you have no faith?” (Mark 4:35-41).
Are you facing storms in your life? Do you have faith in Christ believing He will help you? If you don’t the Bible is the place to find it: “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17).
Just like a wall socket in your home, there is power in there, but not until you plug into it!
