Safety in God

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1).

God’s love and protection are with you and your children.

Recently, I had a discussion with a young mother about her concern for the spiritual awakening of her teenage son. She told me how her pastor had prayed a simple blessing over the boy. I told her I know the young man may not show any reception of his covering, but the fact is; it still remains over him because of the love and concern of his mother and the appointed ministering of one of God’s shepherds (her pastor.) In spite of how the young man may or may not act or speak of his covering, I believe God claims the young man even up to the time in which the Holy Spirit convicts him to receive and act upon his salvation. The boy is under the feathers of the wings of God until he is able to make a decision for God. Further more, I believe even before the moment of our conception God claims us as His creation. As we are born and live He places His angels around us to protect us. Jesus said in His Parable of The Lost Sheep; “Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 18:10).

We are all little ones in God’s eyes. I thank God for the protection He provides all His children no matter what our ages. It gives me great comfort in knowing we have Safety in God.

My Prayer: Oh Lord, You are almighty God, You created us to be your children and to worship You. We are Yours! Help us Lord to realize the safety we, and our children have in You because You love us. Bless us Lord, each and everyone.

Walk Of Faith

I wonder, do you think we miss God’s purpose for our lives because we are waiting to learn more of what God has planned for us? Truth is; God isn’t required to lay it all out for us. All He must do if He has a plan for our lives is to show us how and then enable us to do it. It seems when we don’t know all the particulars, life is too perplexing. We think, “ but I need to know just what God wants me to do.” Abram (later known as Abraham) probably had thoughts just like this. God asked Abram to go somewhere he wasn’t familiar with and he most likely thought of asking God, Lord, must I go somewhere I don’t know, can’t I just stay here in Haran? However, God’s plan for Abram was far greater than anything Abram could ever imagine. Our personal feelings, vision, and human reasoning will always get in the way of our walk of faith . God teaches us to have faith in Him by placing us in positions where our feelings, vision, and common knowledge don’t work for us. Haven’t you ex...
Over the past few years I have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to write what He has given me; many times I was awakened in the middle of the night to write them down. I hope you will take look at these brief messages which can be found in the "sidebar" of this blog under the heading of "BLOG ARCHIVE." There may be something in these that personally speaks to you. I pray there is. Thanks for reading my blog and may God richly bless you.

In Heaven

We will experience a sense of perfect joy There will also be perfect peace and fulfillment because of the divine presence of God. Our worship of the Father will be without distraction. Forever and ever we will concentrate our worship only on Him; our loving, caring God who is, and was, and forever will be our Creator and Sustainer. Never will we experience exhaustion as we serve and interact with Him on a very personal level. “And His servants shall serve Him” (Revelation 22:3). In Revelation it is revealed we will govern with Christ and rule over all that is brought under His dominion. “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall rule forever and ever!” (Revelation 11:15). And it is written; “And they [his servants] shall reign forever and ever” (Revelation 22:5). Ours will be a perfect fellowship like that of the Father and the Son. “That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they may also be ...
