God is Omniscient

“Who has preceded Me, that I should pay him? Everything under heaven is Mine” (Job 41:11).
Listen! His Spirit speaks forgiveness and release…they are yours for the asking.

Our God is all knowing; having knowledge of all things. In (Luke 12:6, 7) Jesus told of God’s knowledge and concern for His creation. In this verse He spoke of how God is aware of every sparrow and how He knows the number of hairs on our heads. God created the stars, the heavens and with a twirl of His mighty finger He set it all into motion. He created you and me. Certainly He knows our strengths and our weaknesses. He knows our past, our present and our future. Everything about us He knows! And, He considers us precious to Him among all His creation.

“O Lord, you have searched me and known me. / You know my sitting down and my rising up; / You understand my thought afar off…/ And are acquainted with my ways. / For there is not a word on my tongue, / But behold, O Lord, you know it altogether…/ For you formed my inner parts; / You covered me in my mother’s womb…/ Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. / And in Your book they all were written. / The days fashioned for me, / When as yet there were none of them” (Psalm 139:1-4, 13, 16).

Is there something you are trying to hide? Some fear? A sinful thought? A bad memory? Please don’t. As we have read God already knows all our fears, our thoughts and about any bad memories we may be trying to hide. Thoughts like these only drag us down and deny us of the quality of life God wants us to have.  When we confess our thoughts or sins to God we are immediately forgiven and we are released from these cruel burdens.
Confessing them is just so easy…it’s what God wants us to do. As my friend, your happiness and health are important to me and they are important to God. Don’t spend another day mired in quicksand, get on your knees and ask God to help you, to forgive you. He will, and tomorrow you will be a hundred pounds lighter and your complexion will be as radiant as the sun.You are special and God calls you His child.

APPROVED

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). (2 Timothy 2:14-26) instructs those whom He knows are His ; and don’t we aspire to be recognized as such, to be approved by God? He tells us to avoid godless chatter (gossip), because we will become more and more ungodly. God warns that what we say can affect others, even destroying the faith of some. Heaven forbid we should say anything to do such damage!   Approved we flee the evil desires of youth we pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace. We don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments because we know they only produce quarrels. As God’s servants we mustn’t quarrel; instead we must be kind, able to teach, and be not resentful.   Approved we are to gently instruct those who oppose us, hoping God will grant them repentance and lead them to the knowledge of His truth. Over the past few years I have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to write what He has given me; many times I was awakened in the middle of the night to write them down. I hope you will take look at these brief messages which can be found in the "sidebar" of this blog under the heading of "BLOG ARCHIVE." There may be something in these that personally speaks to you. I pray there is. Thanks for reading my blog and may God richly bless you.

Walk Of Faith

I wonder, do you think we miss God’s purpose for our lives because we are waiting to learn more of what God has planned for us? Truth is; God isn’t required to lay it all out for us. All He must do if He has a plan for our lives is to show us how and then enable us to do it. It seems when we don’t know all the particulars, life is too perplexing. We think, “ but I need to know just what God wants me to do.” Abram (later known as Abraham) probably had thoughts just like this. God asked Abram to go somewhere he wasn’t familiar with and he most likely thought of asking God, Lord, must I go somewhere I don’t know, can’t I just stay here in Haran? However, God’s plan for Abram was far greater than anything Abram could ever imagine. Our personal feelings, vision, and human reasoning will always get in the way of our walk of faith . God teaches us to have faith in Him by placing us in positions where our feelings, vision, and common knowledge don’t work for us. Haven’t you ex...
