“Is anyone of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone
happy? Let him sing songs of praise” (James 5: 13).
Sing out your praise! He has caused this day to bring you
happiness.
(James 5:13-17) remains one of my most favorite Scriptures
because it speaks so clearly of the promises God will keep when we pray in faith; believing we will receive that which we are praying
for. I am typing those verses here for your reading convenience;
“Is anyone of you in
trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is
anyone of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him
and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in
faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has
sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray
for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is
powerful and effective.”
Jesus advised His disciples if only they had the faith of a
tiny mustard seed. I truly believe you have this kind of faith, even though you
may not allow it to manifest in you for whatever reason. I am believing right
now you will find it, because I am praying you will receive what you pray for now.
In the Bible, you see that faith is your spiritual
discipline that conquers your doubt. Faith grows exponentially when it is
nurtured by the Word of God. Seek His Word, and pray with all faith. You will
be blessed.
