Apostates Predicted


Sensual persons who cause divisions

I quote from the Book of Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, who was addressing those who were called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ.

In verses 16 through 19, Jude warned of apostates who would come around and make themselves known. He described them as grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts, to use Jude’s own words. He went on to describe them as those who would be mouthing swelling words, flattering to gain advantage. Jude continued saying, “But you beloved, remember the words which were spoken before the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts.

Fast-forward now to today; to our present time, the year 2012. How is this book (Jude) of very few words, the little book which precedes the last book of the Bible; Revelation relevant to our (contemporary) world, the one which we live in now? It is amazingly accurate today, and very timely in its warning! PLEASE READ JUDE! It is a very short read; only 25 verses, and I feel it is vitally important to all! I make special note that though this book precedes the apostle John’s book of Revelation; Jude is also prophetic and contains (revelations) we must not ignore!

You are not going to hear any long dissertation from me here on the book of Jude’s prophetic applications, or how I feel they are appropriate in our present time. However, I will promise you it will not be difficult for you to parallel Jude’s message, his warning, to what “is” going on in our modern world, our country, our cities, and our homes right now, right under our very noses! Just consider present politics, governments, moral and ethical issues, attitudes toward faith in God, and the sad degeneration of our family units as God created them to be. Is prophesy, as inspired by God relevant? Yes! Will it come to pass? Without any doubt!

In closing, I point out that; Jude lovingly advises; maintain your lives with God, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. His advice is more than valuable today.

 May these words, written as inspired by the Holy Spirit, be acceptable, and useful to you, and may God place His blessings upon them.

Over the past few years I have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to write what He has given me; many times I was awakened in the middle of the night to write them down. Walk Of Faith

I wonder, do you think we miss God’s purpose for our lives because we are waiting to learn more of what God has planned for us? Truth is; God isn’t required to lay it all out for us. All He must do if He has a plan for our lives is to show us how and then enable us to do it. It seems when we don’t know all the particulars, life is too perplexing.
