Man Disguises Himself

“A malicious man disguises himself with his lips, but in his heart he harbors deceit. Though his speech is charming, do not believe him, for seven abominations fill his heart. His malice may be concealed by deception, but his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly” (Proverbs 26:24-26).

We are looking for a new leader. But who will save us from all our troubles? Who will take away all these hardships and disappointments plaguing us in our times? We know we need a leader who has the ability required to lead us, one who knows the laws and who can assume all the authority required of a good leader. But who can do the job? The leader we want will be capable of making important decisions on our behalf. Our appointed leader will be honest and forthright and will possess the highest integrity before all people. The one we choose will never waver from what is right and just. Our candidate must be compassionate, yet firm and able to discipline when necessary. Our choice in a leader will be one who loves us and will always have our best interest in mind and never deceive us or mislead us but will always be here to guide us no matter what happens.

Finding the right candidate with all these wonderful credentials would seem almost impossible were it not for the fact that such a person stands ready and able to assume this highest position, all we must do is elect to receive Him. The one whom I am speaking of is running on the Trust ticket. He is worthy! Our candidate has been around for over 2,000 years and has all the authority of heaven. He is already King, He is LORD already! He is Christ Jesus!

Elect Jesus, He brings awesome “change worth having.”

Walk Of Faith

I wonder, do you think we miss God’s purpose for our lives because we are waiting to learn more of what God has planned for us? Truth is; God isn’t required to lay it all out for us. All He must do if He has a plan for our lives is to show us how and then enable us to do it. It seems when we don’t know all the particulars, life is too perplexing. We think, “ but I need to know just what God wants me to do.” Abram (later known as Abraham) probably had thoughts just like this. God asked Abram to go somewhere he wasn’t familiar with and he most likely thought of asking God, Lord, must I go somewhere I don’t know, can’t I just stay here in Haran? However, God’s plan for Abram was far greater than anything Abram could ever imagine. Our personal feelings, vision, and human reasoning will always get in the way of our walk of faith . God teaches us to have faith in Him by placing us in positions where our feelings, vision, and common knowledge don’t work for us. Haven’t you ex...
Over the past few years I have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to write what He has given me; many times I was awakened in the middle of the night to write them down. I hope you will take look at these brief messages which can be found in the "sidebar" of this blog under the heading of "BLOG ARCHIVE." There may be something in these that personally speaks to you. I pray there is. Thanks for reading my blog and may God richly bless you.

In Heaven

We will experience a sense of perfect joy There will also be perfect peace and fulfillment because of the divine presence of God. Our worship of the Father will be without distraction. Forever and ever we will concentrate our worship only on Him; our loving, caring God who is, and was, and forever will be our Creator and Sustainer. Never will we experience exhaustion as we serve and interact with Him on a very personal level. “And His servants shall serve Him” (Revelation 22:3). In Revelation it is revealed we will govern with Christ and rule over all that is brought under His dominion. “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall rule forever and ever!” (Revelation 11:15). And it is written; “And they [his servants] shall reign forever and ever” (Revelation 22:5). Ours will be a perfect fellowship like that of the Father and the Son. “That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they may also be ...
