I Am: Jesus

Say My Name and I will set you on high

Then the angel said to her “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold you shall conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son and shall call His Name JESUS.”
 

“Jesus.” When you say My Name, with love and tenderness, the power of evil is driven away. Your shield is lifted high.

“Jesus.”  You are the one person of the Holy Trinity.

“Jesus.” Your Name is above all others.

“Jesus.” You heal the sick, feed the hungry, cast out demons, and raise the dead.

“Jesus.” You are the Lamb of God.

“Jesus.” I need You. I ask You to come into my life.

“Jesus.” Sweetest Name I know.

 “In the Name of “Jesus of Nazareth” you are healed.”
 
Yes! Say My Name – “JESUS.” Because you have known My Name I will set you on high.

Apostates Predicted

Sensual persons who cause divisions   I quote from the Book of Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, who was addressing those who were called , sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ. In verses 16 through 19, Jude warned of apostates who would come around and make themselves known. He described them as grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts , to use Jude’s own words. He went on to describe them as those who would be mouthing swelling words, flattering to gain advantage . Jude continued saying, “But you beloved, remember the words which were spoken before the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. Breaking The Silence

The house is quiet, the dogs are asleep, and my wife is gone for the morning running her errands. The lonely silence gives our home a feeling of emptiness that seems to cry for noise or activity of some kind. What do I do to fill this void? I could turn on the TV – not much on this time of day though. I know; I’ll put on a CD. How about a little "Stones.", ZZ Top or perhaps some Van Halen; all good driving music, but what makes us feel like we have to fill the silence of our homes with noise or some other distraction? Is it because we fear loneliness? We miss a tremendous opportunity to have an intimate relationship with God at times like I just mentioned if we choose earthly substitutes instead of a Spiritual involvement with our Creator. God created us to be involved with Him, to have a yearning for His awesome presence. No music, TV or hobby can truly fill the voids we feel when we are alone. Only He can satisfy our need.
