I Declare

Calling things that are not as though they were

We all have situations in our lives that we would like to see change. Maybe it’s unwanted debt, a lack of enough monthly income, a better relationship with someone, a desire to be healthier, or just feel better about our selves. It can be anything that keeps us from having the kind of joyful and fulfilling life God intends for us. We don’t have to be satisfied with our lack of these things.

You have power over your life! You can have what you say. Most of the time we are defeated in our lives because, we believe and confess the wrong things. Our negative words hold us back in bondage as the enemy wants us to feel deprived of God’s provisions. He wants us to accept defeat. Jesus said in (Matthew 17:20), “…if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

In (Mark 11:22, 23), He said, “Have faith in God…I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.”

As I read these Scriptures, I see Jesus helping us understand that what we say, and believe affects our world around us, be it our health, our relationships, or our finances. Our world is governed by physical laws, and spiritual laws; and they are all God’s laws. God has given us His Word so we can understand His laws which cause our world to go round and round. When we work with His laws, we are in harmony and they work for us. When we don’t, well, they don’t.

Choose life not death, riches not poverty, wellness not sickness. Speak positive words over your life, not the other kind! It is the truth! In (Galatians 3:14) we learn, “He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.”

It’s time for a change! Confess what God says about you. “You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light” (1 Peter 2:9).

Walk Of Faith

I wonder, do you think we miss God’s purpose for our lives because we are waiting to learn more of what God has planned for us? Truth is; God isn’t required to lay it all out for us. All He must do if He has a plan for our lives is to show us how and then enable us to do it. It seems when we don’t know all the particulars, life is too perplexing. We think, “ but I need to know just what God wants me to do.” Abram (later known as Abraham) probably had thoughts just like this. God asked Abram to go somewhere he wasn’t familiar with and he most likely thought of asking God, Lord, must I go somewhere I don’t know, can’t I just stay here in Haran? However, God’s plan for Abram was far greater than anything Abram could ever imagine. Our personal feelings, vision, and human reasoning will always get in the way of our walk of faith . God teaches us to have faith in Him by placing us in positions where our feelings, vision, and common knowledge don’t work for us. Haven’t you ex...
Over the past few years I have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to write what He has given me; many times I was awakened in the middle of the night to write them down. I hope you will take look at these brief messages which can be found in the "sidebar" of this blog under the heading of "BLOG ARCHIVE." There may be something in these that personally speaks to you. I pray there is. Thanks for reading my blog and may God richly bless you.

In Heaven

We will experience a sense of perfect joy There will also be perfect peace and fulfillment because of the divine presence of God. Our worship of the Father will be without distraction. Forever and ever we will concentrate our worship only on Him; our loving, caring God who is, and was, and forever will be our Creator and Sustainer. Never will we experience exhaustion as we serve and interact with Him on a very personal level. “And His servants shall serve Him” (Revelation 22:3). In Revelation it is revealed we will govern with Christ and rule over all that is brought under His dominion. “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall rule forever and ever!” (Revelation 11:15). And it is written; “And they [his servants] shall reign forever and ever” (Revelation 22:5). Ours will be a perfect fellowship like that of the Father and the Son. “That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they may also be ...
