Day before yesterday, I cooked up a pot of "killer" chili. Yeah, I know it's not winter and chili is better in the winter. I like chili all-year long. Well, my chili fixin' was killer alright, it tore our stomachs up something terrible. Yesterday, I was miserable all day. I was so wanting my day to be over - I wanted a new day without stomach problems.

Every day, God allows us a "do-over" and we get a new chance at living. Today, thankfully, I am feeling over my chili malady and I (am) starting over. I have a new opportunity today to seek more of Jesus. First, I will pray for my family and friends that they see more of Jesus and that their lives and their today is better than yesterday. And then, I am praying our nation stops this political division and hatred that is sickening our people. God help us to love you more and realize without You we are lost. You are our new day and we praise You for it.

He provides resources for the family “For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those whom call upon You” (Psalm 86:5). God’s plan for marriage and the family, in the Bible, is intended to be ideal, full of prosperity for every member. Would you say this describes your family? Maybe, maybe not, however, even if your family has missed His mark His Word deals with life realistically. Many of us experience some aspect of failure or serious disappointment with the way our family is living. Many families today are divided by divorce or living as single-parent family units. Apostates Predicted

Sensual persons who cause divisions   I quote from the Book of Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, who was addressing those who were called , sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ. In verses 16 through 19, Jude warned of apostates who would come around and make themselves known. He described them as grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts , to use Jude’s own words. He went on to describe them as those who would be mouthing swelling words, flattering to gain advantage . Jude continued saying, “But you beloved, remember the words which were spoken before the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts.
