"He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform” (Romans 4:20, 21).
What God has promised you He is ready to provide. Receive now in faith and without lacking in patience.
When you were a child did your parents ever promise to take you somewhere special for your birthday? Maybe they promised you could stay up late with them the night of your birthday? You never doubted their promises did you? I mean, a promise is a promise. If they told you they were going to do something you just knew it was going to happen! I remember how excited I was when my parents promised me something and they gave it to me! I’ll never forget how I trusted them. Neither can I forget the promises God has made and kept for me in my lifetime. He has always been faithful to deliver what He has promised to me. Sometimes the evil one tries to convince me God hasn’t delivered though. He tries to convince me God changes His mind. Its times like this that I will to remain strong. I read what God says and declare how great my God is! Just because we don’t see His fulfillment according to our understanding at that particular time does not mean He hasn’t done it or isn’t going to do it. Remember, Satan is a liar! God is truth, and He is always faithful to His promises!
In (1 Kings 8:56) Solomon stood up from having been praying on his knees and spread his hands up to heaven. He was speaking to the people Israel . In a very loud voice he said; “Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel , according to all He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses.” Solomon spoke strong encouragement to his people to help them believe in God’s promises. He did so through his personal relationship with God and through the inspiration he was given by the Holy Spirit. There were some then, just as there are now, who lacked faith and could not bring themselves to trust God’s promises. I would imagine Solomon say their lives were made miserable. I hope, and yes pray, you do not become slack in your faith. (Hebrews 6:11) says; “And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”
Your faith is increased as you read more of God’s Word. Find Scriptures that reveal God’s promises and receive them into your spirit without any doubt. Be patient and know God will make His promises happen for you.
