“You will again have compassion on us; You will tread our
sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea” (Micah
7:19).
Here we are on this tiny little
planet in a relatively small solar system situated toward the outer rim of a
vast galaxy known as; The Milky Way being only one galaxy among millions of
other galaxies in an unimaginable universe that continues to expand every
minute and this God who is continuing to create all things considers you and me
to be so immensely important to Him that He forgives us every time we fail Him!
Do you ever ask yourself why? I do often. Wouldn’t you agree we are so
small, so totally insignificant considering the vastness of God’s expanding
creation that we shouldn’t even rate a millisecond of His unimaginable,
so busy mind, but we do! To Him we are still so important to Him he knows
the number of hairs on our head…he even knows our name!
How wonderful is this; our
God, that He, who is so big, so huge that He measures the breadth of
the universe in the width of His mighty hand (Isaiah 40:12)! He has compassion
on you and me because He considers us an important part of His
indescribable, amazing creation. Okay, so He created us, still why would He
even bother to think of us? He cares so much for you and for me He sent His
only precious Son to earth to die for us so we can be with Him in heaven
forever. He bothers to consider us because He loves us. He really loves us.
“O God, we thank you
for your love, we thank you for forgiving us. We thank you O God for being our
caring, loving Father. Help us O Lord to be more worthy of all you do for us.
Help us Jesus to always honor You and be mindful of your immense grace. Please
know we love You, and we praise Your mighty name. You are God.” Amen.
