We can believe that Jesus Christ is Lord. We can believe He came to earth to save us; save us from
all sin and eternal death. These should be our foremost beliefs. But, you may
be saying; “I know, but what can I believe regarding His healing of my
disease?” Jesus died not only for our sins, but also for our infirmities. The
Bible tells us so; (Psalm 103:2, 3) “…Forget
not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your
diseases.” So then you say; “I know all that! What I want to know is; am I
going to be healed of my diabetes, or my cancer?” or whatever else might be
troubling you. We can’t know the mind of God. I know this sounds like an escape
clause or an excuse for not answering your very serious concern specifically,
but it isn’t intended to be. You understand we cannot know the will of God. He
alone determines our coming and our going; our rising up and our sitting down.
What we can understand and believe is; He is our God! We can believe He loves you without
measure! I know that He does! He is aware of everything about you, how you feel,
and what are your fears, and what is hurting you now. God doesn’t promise us
life without difficulties; we will have difficulties. There are many other
forces at work in our world. Satan would have us believe we have no hope and
that God has left us alone. Satan is a liar! I cast out this evil thinking in
your life right now, in the mighty name of Jesus! You can believe and pray He
will be with you in all your tribulations, helping you to survive this
imperfect world. Our God is a God of miracles! He can heal us instantaneously
or He may perfect our healing over a longer period of time. We must trust Him, having all faith that He
is in control of our welfare.
In (Jeremiah 29:11); which is one of my most favorite
Scriptures, we read what our Lord has said; “For
I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and
not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go
and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me,
when you seek me with all of your heart.” This is so very true! And, I do
believe what He says here with all my
heart! I am convinced that the fulfillment of our wellness is centered in our
faith in Jesus Christ! Just calling out His precious name, JESUS, aloud has
tremendous power!
Yes, continue to follow your doctor’s instructions! Yes,
continue to take your doctor’s recommended medications for the wellness plan he
or she has set for you. But, “forget not all His (God’s) benefits: who
forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases!” Your faith
in Jesus, your trust in Him, and your prayers to Him WILL work miracles for
you!
