It’s Mine

Believe in your heart and speak it with your mouth

Say this to yourself: “I am a child of God, I can have all things God says I can have, I can do all things God says I can do, and I can be all God says I can be…in Jesus’ Name!

We are all vulnerable to the lies and deceitful suggestions of the enemy who wants to keep us down and depressed. But, we have a big God who has a better plan for our lives! He determined long ago that good things are ahead for us, so we must believe that our prosperity and better health are on their way! Can we just sit back and wait for God to bless us? No, of course not! We must do our part and believe in His good works for us. We must continue building our great wall of faith so that nothing can penetrate this fortress we have in Him. How can we do this? Read His Word.

May I ask you; what is bothering you the most right now? Be honest with yourself. Is there something you keep worrying about; some concern that just won’t go away?  Our ability to cope with our problems comes and goes. Sometimes we’re weak, other times we’re strong. This is true for most of us. When we are tired or stressed we are most vulnerable to what bothers us. Late night vigils can be especially dark since everything seems worst when we can’t sleep for worrying. This is also when one problem can stack on top of another and another until we are overwhelmed and we can’t get the rest we desperately need. A good remedy for this kind of attack of Satan is to get up, take a hot shower, get a glass of milk or make a hot cup of Chamomile tea, find a comfortable chair or couch and curl up with your Bible. Read the truth, find Scriptures that match up with what is bothering you and allow the Holy Spirit to advise you. He will, if you allow Him. Depending on your willingness, you could be back in bed in less than an hour. God’s Word is powerful and always appropriate no matter what your circumstances are. One “word” from Him can do it! It works for me.

You must remember you are God’s special creation! He created you for good. He will provide His best for you, all you must do is claim it. Say this with me now; “HIS PEACE, IT IS MINE! GOD’S VERY BEST IS MINE! I BELIEVE IT, AND I RECEIVE IT!”

You can have what He says you can have, and you can do what He says you can do. Just believe it in your heart, and speak it with your mouth.

I believe you are receiving God’s PEACE even now…in Jesus’ Name!

APPROVED

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). (2 Timothy 2:14-26) instructs those whom He knows are His ; and don’t we aspire to be recognized as such, to be approved by God? He tells us to avoid godless chatter (gossip), because we will become more and more ungodly. God warns that what we say can affect others, even destroying the faith of some. Heaven forbid we should say anything to do such damage!   Approved we flee the evil desires of youth we pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace. We don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments because we know they only produce quarrels. As God’s servants we mustn’t quarrel; instead we must be kind, able to teach, and be not resentful.   Approved we are to gently instruct those who oppose us, hoping God will grant them repentance and lead them to the knowledge of His truth. Over the past few years I have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to write what He has given me; many times I was awakened in the middle of the night to write them down. I hope you will take look at these brief messages which can be found in the "sidebar" of this blog under the heading of "BLOG ARCHIVE." There may be something in these that personally speaks to you. I pray there is. Thanks for reading my blog and may God richly bless you.

Walk Of Faith

I wonder, do you think we miss God’s purpose for our lives because we are waiting to learn more of what God has planned for us? Truth is; God isn’t required to lay it all out for us. All He must do if He has a plan for our lives is to show us how and then enable us to do it. It seems when we don’t know all the particulars, life is too perplexing. We think, “ but I need to know just what God wants me to do.” Abram (later known as Abraham) probably had thoughts just like this. God asked Abram to go somewhere he wasn’t familiar with and he most likely thought of asking God, Lord, must I go somewhere I don’t know, can’t I just stay here in Haran? However, God’s plan for Abram was far greater than anything Abram could ever imagine. Our personal feelings, vision, and human reasoning will always get in the way of our walk of faith . God teaches us to have faith in Him by placing us in positions where our feelings, vision, and common knowledge don’t work for us. Haven’t you ex...
